CMM members are welcome to contribute to CMM News by sending text and photos to communication(at)cmm.se.

What types of news can be included in the CMM newsletter?

New CMMers: If you have a new coworker in your CMM group/team or if you are that you coworker, please send us
- A photo of the new CMMer (state the name of the photographer or write “private photo”)
- A short text providing a mini bio and some information about what the person will work with at CMM. Below is an example with a minimum of information. More information can be added but the paragraph should not exceed 500 characters.
- Example: “X is a new lab technician/postdoc/PhD student/Master student/research assistant, etc. in Y’s CMM Group/Team. X graduated in … (and pursued a PhD in …) at … University, Country. X’s will be studying/researching/working on… Her/his primary areas of interest are…”

Academic appointments
Funding and grants: Substantial grants. Please provide information about the research project(s), the grant, possible co-grantees, etc. We also appreciate a photo of the grantee(s).

Mini abstracts of maximum 40 words when you have published a new paper and would like it to appear under the “Publications” section in CMM News. The text should be easy to understand for persons who are not familiar with your research area.
